This small boutique retreat is one of Rarotonga's favorites. Located on the Southern side of the island on the shores of Titikaveka Beach, Royale Takitumu offers 10 beautifully appointed one bedroom private villas with self catering facilities. The property is spread out over 1.3 acres of tropical gardens and meandering lily ponds and waterfalls providing a serene setting with a peaceful ambience. The 10 villas are removed from the main road and island traffic making this a quiet location. The separate super king bedrooms are air conditioned and fitted with spacious bathrooms with spa baths, bidets and showers and include complimentary toiletry packs. Rumours of Romance is rated as one of the most deluxe and luxury boutique property in the South Pacific. Situated right on the beach on Muri Lagoon, the five villas have great lagoon views and decks that step right onto the beach. Each villa has two bedrooms with super king four poster hand carved and canopied beds and each bedroom with its own bath room completed with marble floors and walls. Each bath room has a clear glass block walled, pebble floor shower all built into its own private garden and stream. Marble is used extensively throughout and huge decks extend on to the white sand and also around the pool areas. Four poster day beds for relaxing in the lounge and up market fully equipped kitchens allow for a "stay at home " option to complement the many excellent restaurants available within a few minutes of the property. Options also exist for gourmet meals to be catered for without having to leave the property and can include Champagne Brunch or Dinner Baskets delivered at the time of your choice. Stainless steel BBQ facilities are also available on both the front and rear decks. The central " Ultimate" villa has its own dedicated Movie Theatre room with a 2.5 meter screen and full theatre projector and sound systems.
