GENERAL INFO: There are over 300 islands that make up Fiji, most of them uninhabited. For romance, culture, beaches and soft coral reefs, the islands of Fiji are perfect for any special occasion, Anniversary, Wedding and Honeymoon or just for ultimate relaxation.After an overnight flight on Fiji's National Airline, Air Pacific and her 747-400 with dinner and a movie, you will be having a hot breakfast and landing to begin the new day in Fiji. You cross over the International Dateline so you arrive a day later, but don't worry; you gain it back on your return flight. A valid passport is all you need as a US citizen. Most other countries offer a visitors visa on arrival as well, but email or call us to verify.

CLIMATE: Fiji enjoys an ideal South Pacific tropical climate with temperatures averaging 82 Degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity averages 60% and trade winds from the east southeast bring year long cooling breezes late afternoon and early evening. The summer, November through March, is sometimes called the rainy season, which increases the chance of a passing afternoon or evening thunderstorm. Winter, July through October, is generally cooler temperatures and drier.

CULTURE: The people of Fiji make the difference! Fijians will invite you to their native villages, and they will welcome you into their churches where song rings out; Fijians are very musical. Partake in a kava ceremony in which you drink to celebrate with the village, or a Meke performed for you to tell their story through dance, they are all genuine. It's an edifying experience, whether you are traveling as a couple or as a family, to pay a visit to at least one of the villages and greet the chief with a hearty 'Bula'.ACCOMMODATIONS: You can choose from modern international resorts or smaller more intimate island resorts throughout Fiji.
